It's a place to do with what ever you want.
If you've got some news tell everyone at the same time, submit pictures of your accomplishments or even better your disasters. If it happening on Hartley Lane put it here.

Most plot holders have a specialist knowledge even if they don't know it.
If you have a particular knack of growing one type of plant, then here you could tell us all how you do it so we can all have a try.

Get the most out of the site

To use all the features on the site you will need to register.
Why?..It's just a small way to discourage the less well meaning people on the Internet from messing things up for the rest of us.
Registering..It's very simple click on the "Register" word at the top of the screen and fill in the form that appears. Make sure you use a real e-mail address this is used in case you forget your password. (these are encrypted in a data base so even the editors can not tell what it is.)

So how do you get all this on the web site ?

MEMBERS PAGES..On these pages you control the content. Upload your pics, write about your gardening experiences, publish your videos,
There is no limit set for the number of pages each member can create so the potential could be vast. All new pages and edits of existing pages are under editorial review, this is just a small measure to stop spam submissions. Acceptance should take no more than 24hrs.

GALLERY PICTURES..at the moment your pics for our Photo galleries need to be placed here by the editor,
so you need to either E-mail them (address at bottom of page) or hand them to the bloke on plot 38 on a disc or other device.
If you want a short comment published under the pictures don't forget that as well.

WRITTEN CONTENT.. is published via the Articles and Tips submissions page. Don't be shy no one expects a literary masterpiece, just tell us in your own words.
To aid the integrity and security of the web site this is not published immediately.
(24 to 48 hrs usually)

NEWS.. once again tell the bloke on plot 38. News has to be entered by the editor.
NEWS COMMENTS.. can be submitted in the form provided, (under the news item) this can be automated so you see the comment straight away. But at present it's under security control so you have to wait 24 hrs. If the wait is not to every ones liking this can be reviewed in the future.

The Potting Shed

Well in actual fact its a gardening forum.
More of a virtual potting shed, a place to ask and answer questions, discuss and generally socialise with every one interested in the subject of gardening and all things related.
You'll need to register to take part in any discussions but its easy, painless and free. So join in you never know you may enjoy it.
