Today sees the launch of the new look Hartley lane allotment society web site.

You may or may not know that the old site was hosted on a free Microsoft office server, this gave very limited scope to add any content that members would find useful.

Now it's all changed members can add content themselves.

The main new features are:

• The Picture gallery
• The Video Gallery
• The tips, articles and videos listed in categories
• And of course our all singing and dancing News feature

The best way to find all that is already here is to surf around the site and press all the buttons.

Don't forget to try out all the comment features and submit a gardening tip or two, once you've watched all the videos.

Most important is to give us some feedback, the good and the bad, we need to know if we are heading in the right direction with the site.
There are many ways to have your say about the website, use the contact button at the top of the page, by e-mail, address on plot holders page, news comments under each news item or just shout at us on the allotment site.

The Potting Shed is open for business.

The Potting Shed, Hartley lanes answer to a gardening forum has moved with this site.
We now have a nice new shiny (and very empty) gardening forum.

The forum will only work if members contribute questions and answers, so don't be shy, it's not a place to have your gardening ability judged, it's for the sharing of knowledge and socialising...we'll see you there.
